Yes pyrography called. You can buy the tool at Walmart for about $ 14.00. You can save on the craft and to get the soft wood for practice. Now, note the tool or the tool the Wal-Mart cheaper to buy anywhere, you have a thermostat, the heat lost while working with him. It causes agravating can stop sometimes you have to heat again.
Get a piece of wood, with the Council to vary and the amount of pressure to try to practice it so you look like. Do not be discouraged, it takes practice. Start with something that does not have many details about her first project.
If you're like me and can not drag to a piece of plastic laminate or PF, cover it with tape to find the tape overlap, an image that you like and put carbon paper under the photo to get the beginning of the tape Inbetween carbon paper. Trace the design onto the tape. Is this done, remove the tape. Insert the tape with the use of the wood in your. You can burn the tape.
There are some good books that you can in the library, but I like the best of Sue Walters. This book would have to purchase or receive a loan from the library would have to ask.
You might want to join a Yahoo pryography are very friendly and can occur with any problems could help.
If nothing else, they have photo albums with the work and who you can inspire and motivate.
Try what you do not always, first working on a pumpkin. They do take extreme Tallent, because the outer layer is hard and if you break the wood stove is soft.
